Dear Chaparral Class of 1979,

Five years ago, we had our 40th reunion. Time has passed so fast, and we’ve realized how important it is to stay connected, especially as we remember those who were with us at the 40th but are no longer here. Life is too short and unpredictable, so we decided to come together once again.

We are excited to announce that “We’re having a mixer!!” We’re not calling this a reunion—it’s more of a one-night “Mixer,” or as we like to call it, a “Mix-up,” since we’re a bit behind in planning! It won’t be a grand 3-day event like our 50th is expected to be, but rather a simple fun evening of catching up, enjoying good food, and having a great time.

• Time: 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

• Location: The Willows Restaurant at Desert Willow Golf Course, 2020 W. Horizon Ridge, Henderson, NV

• Cost: $35 per person

• Menu: Italian buffet to start at 5:30 pm. A cash bar will be available for those who want something stronger.

The Willows Restaurant at Desert Willow Golf Course is a beautiful venue overlooking the course, offering a perfect atmosphere for reconnecting with old friends. We’d love to see as many of you as possible—whether it’s been 5 years or more since we last caught up.

This event commemorates our 45th year since graduation, but we welcome anyone who wants to join us. After all, we know we were the best class, and people still want to hang with us “cool kids.”
